Gemlan Tech have announced they are soon to confirm a deal with a large European mobile phone manufacturer to provide solar powered portable power banks.

The deal is initially for 600,000 units, with the first delivery of 150,000 units scheduled for February 2025.

The power banks utilize the company's U-Series Plus+ solar cells wrapped around the power bank with unfolds to expose all solar cells at the same time.

Charging times of between 6 and 8 hours are expected dependent upon the size of the power bank.

Due to the exact details of the deal yet to be agreed, no further information was available at the time of this announcement, but it has been announced that both companies are to jointly launch the product in the new year.
