Gemlan Tech Inc, the leading Canadian producer of technical solar cell panels, have today announced that Keith Simmons will become their Product Development Director.

Keith joined the company in October last year as their Product Development Manager and has quickly established himself as not only one of the company's 'go to guys', but also the sector in general.

Keith will still be working alongside the company's engineering team and reporting directly to Mr. Oliver Elwin, the company's Chief Engineer, but will now also be responsible for creating a team of designers and software engineers who will be responsible for the development of new products and the advancement of existing ones.

"Keith is one of those guys that every company wants, and more importantly, needs on their team," said Oliver Elwin.

"His knowledge and ability is equally matched by his passion of the industry. His involvement with several key projects which we are in the final stages of agreeing upon and completing has been instrumental in Gemlan Tech establishing themselves as one of, if not the, sector's most technologically advanced companies," Oliver Elwin added.

Keith, who is currently away in Asia on business said, "Gemlan Tech have delivered on all of their promises and projections since I started with them. I now look forward to delivering all of mine and furthering their position as technology leaders in the solar power marketplace."
